ASSEMBLE A TOP ROPE

To be able to mount a climbing Top Rope first you have to climb all the way first until you reach the meeting point. And so the next climber on Top Rope.

Top rope climbing (or top roping) is a style in climbing in which the climber is securely attached to a rope which then passes up, through an anchor system at the top of the climb, and down to a belayer at the foot of the climb.

First of all, once we reach the meeting point we will have to pass our rope through the Express tape. In the second place we will anchor with our anchor rope. Then we will have to loop through the ring and make an eight double knot tied with a carabiner to our ventral ring. Finally, we get off the first initial knot with which we were climbing and we can descend.

All this assumption is for the descent from a normal installation consisting of two plates joined by a chain with a ring on one side.

Now the next climber can climb rope, a technique much safer because there is no risk of falling

  1. Me gusta el montañismo, pero más vivir en la naturaleza. Por desgracia para mí, solo me quedan los paseos.
